The Down-Side of Living Near a Farm

We love, love, love the farm near us. Love seeing the sheep grazing. Love seeing the cows running around. Love the adorable little tiny baby goats. Love the donkey. Love the chickens. Love trying to figure out whether those are alpacas or llamas. Love spotting the one black sheep in the flock.

Love seeing one alpaca completely barrel into another one at a dead run (yes, we really saw that once). Love seeing the ensuing chase when the knocked-over alpaca gets pissed off at the one who knocked him over.

What do I not love?

Minding my own business this morning. Driving to work. Sipping my coffee. Seeing a bull trying to mount a cow right next to the road. Nice. Good morning, Becky.

What? No camera-phone available to document nature?

Sorry to disappoint, dude. My work-issued Blackberry doesn't have a camera feature.

I'm thinking of buying property near an alpaca ranch, and Google brought me to this post. Any other downsides?
