We've been living here for almost 6 weeks now. But I finally got my craft area all set up two weeks ago. And last night I revelled in it!
Not like at our old apartment where any sewing project had to temporarily take over the living room/dining room space (really it was one giant room—and was our main living area, the place where we spent most of our time).
Instead, I had the ironing board set up right there in my craft area, the sewing machine was in its permanent home, and I whipped these curtains out in about an hour or so. (Of course, it was key that I had done my measurements a few weeks ago and had drawn myself a handy little diagram.)
These were not made from a pattern, just my own idea. Nothing special really. But I love this fabric and I think the curtains came out pretty cute. These are in our half-bath, which is downstairs. It's a very springy-feeling room.
Here's some photos!

Finally! A glimpse of the new place! Cute curtains! I wish I had a craft room. Thinking of taking down the guest bed and storing it until next year's wave of visitors. We shall see.
Looks cute!
